According to recent trends, 60 percent of people in the U.S. hate their jobs! I know some of these people! Are you one of them? People are bored, unmotivated, and working more hours then ever for the same pay! Another downside of working for an employer is that you are at their mercy. They can fire you, lay you off, pay you a low salary, and just annoy you.

With traditional employment, you trade your time or skills for money – day in and day out – rinse and repeat. In today’s down economy, there are no more jobs for life and salaries don’t get increased every year. More and more we hear of employers not giving salary increases and employees should just be happy to have a job.

People complain about how unhappy they are at their jobs – I don’t blame them. And job dissatisfaction leads to absenteeism and employee turnover as well as loss of creativity and productivity. So the question is – why do the job haters stay? One reason is it’s a comfort zone – that environment that we all grow accustomed to, even if we don’t like it. Makes it harder to get out of it.
