Why I Became a Beachbody Coach

I did not know the Beachbody Coach business existed until after I completed the P90X 90-day workout program. During the course of my P90X program, I was very excited about my results and told lots of people about what I was doing. I was sending people to the Beachbody Web site to check out all the programs, especially P90X. Yes, these amazing fitness programs were something to shout about.

I finally found out about the Beachbody Coach program from my present Coach who I met on Facebook. I love spreading the good word about getting fit and healthy to my friends and family. Being an advocate of health and helping keep others motivated towards reaching their own fitness goals is the foundation of Beachbody Coaching. So many people are well intended with their fitness goals but don’t reach them for lack of motivation or inspiration.

I am now an Emerald Coach and P90X grad. Being a Beachbody Coach is the perfect business for me. I can work this business as much or little as I like with no pressure. That gave me the opportunity to take my time learning form other successful Coaches and exploring before diving in head first. With the Internet and social networking, I can reach out far beyond the confines of my own geographical area.

What is Beachbody WOWY

WOWY means “Work Out With You”. WOWY is the brilliant creation of Team Beachbody where you work out with people from all over the country in a virtual gym. It’s a little like social networking for fitness.

WOWY is part of Team Beachbody and is included with the free membership, Club membership, and the Coach program. So far in 2009, 893,570 workouts have been logged in WOWY! There are hundreds of people, just like you, in WOWY at given time.

WOWY gives you great tools to stay accountable, schedule and track your workouts, choose Success Buddies to work out with, keep a diary, join workout groups, and more! Beachbody’s WOWY is a fun way to be part of a large community of people just like you and me, who want to get fit and stay fit!

Next Workout

  • My Next Workout: Shows your next scheduled workout, activity, and Success Buddies who will be joining you. If you don’t already have a WOWY workout planned, just click “Schedule your workout” and go to the calendar to schedule one.
  • Click here to Start your workout! Click the button to start you WOWY workout session. You can post a message in the virtual gym too! When you complete your workout, just click “Done.” You can post another message that others who are also in WOWY can view too!

The best part is that when you start your workout in WOWY, you are automatically entered to win the Million Dollar Body Game® daily prize!

Calendar/Scheduler

  • Update my WOWY calendar: You can set up your workout schedule! Set up the day, workout time, and choose the fitness program you will do. You can invite friend, or choose Success Buddies who will work out in WOWY at the same time as you.

Success Buddies

  • Success Buddy: This is the fun part! You can ask other people to work out with you in WOWY. You’ll have plenty to choose from – there are thousands of people who log their workouts in. When you schedule your workout, click "Success Buddies" to go to your Address Book, where you can choose who to invite.
  • My Buddy Address Book: Want a Success Buddy for your next workout? You can invite anyone in your address book, even if they’re not Team Beachbody members (they will have to join for access to the gym, however).

Diary

  • Diary: You can keep an online journal of your workout and diet. All entries are confidential of course!

Other Tools

  • Transformation Tracker: This advanced tool lets you track your fitness transformation in an easy-to-read graphic. We recommend updating your progress at least every month to get the maximum benefit from this tool.
  • My Weekly Goals: Every journey is made up of small steps. Set weekly goals for yourself as the stepping stones of your own journey to change your habits and your health.
  • WOWY Workout Groups: Connect with other people who share your goals, experience, or interests. When you check to see who’s in WOWY, they’ll be the first members you see!
  • Who’s in WOWY? You can see who’s in WOWY right now and who was there recently by clicking "Who’s in WOWY Right NOW!" and "Recently in WOWY." Check up on who you’ll be working out with in the future by clicking "Who’s scheduled to work out later?"
  • Change my WOWY Image: Choose a photo to represent you when you’re working out in WOWY. The picture should be of your face, can include part or all of your figure, and should be of you alone.

Be sure to sign up at Team Beachbody, choose a screen name and start logging your workouts in WOWY! Remember, even though you are working out at home, you are not alone! There are thousands of people just like you and me who all share similar goals: to get fit and stay fit!
